Lionel, Oh,oh. It's not looking very good. From the info I have, my Tom was a bricklayer. This info was forwarded to me from sks from a search of the registers for St. Nicholas in Brighton. It shows Tom as a bricklayer on Edward Street. All info I have rec'd has Tom marrying Louisa in St. Nicholas, Brighton (1822), and their known children (Ann, Alfred, Sarah and William James)being baptised there. I have tried requesting lookups for census info around the time of the baptisms(1825-1832), but have not been successful. Unfortunately I am far flung from city libraries and family history centres so have been posting all queries on genealogy sites for help. It's not looking very positive for a connection to 'the' Tom Sayers, does it?
