MOSES SAYERS, Methodist minister in 1877, Oklahoma

MOSES SAYERS was appointed in 1877 to be the Methodist minister at a church in Hitchitee (Hitchita) Oklahoma (Indian Territory, at the time). The church was for Creek Indians. Creeks were one of the Five Civilized Tribes. I would love to establish contact with a descendant of Moses Sayers; I am working on a town history of Hitchita, and I think we could help each other. My E-mail is
