I am interested in two Garrett Sayers (father and son) of Derrymore East,Co Kerry.

The father was residing there in 1924 when son Garrett b. abt 1903 emigrated to his aunt Margaret Casey's (nee Sayers?) residence at 103-17 Springfield Blvd, Queens,NY,USA.

This is the same address, my wife's relative, Julia Sayers b. abt 1906 used as her residence in a trip returning from a visit to Ireland in 1934.

1920 Census shows a Margaret Casey in Naugatuck, New Haven, Connecticut, a widow with sons Fred Kennedy and Francis Casey as well as daughters:Adeline and Ethyl. In 1930 I find her at the Queens address with Francis and Ethyl.

It sounds like we may be researching the same family.

Hope to hear from you.

Bill Hazelton
