William Wilson and his wife Grizzelle Wilson sailed from Tyrone County,
Ireland and arrived in Charleston, SC around May 1758. It is said that
William stood 6 ft. 4 inches and weighed 250 pounds. He had two brothers,
Robert and James. We are not sure if they made the trip to America or
not.
William gave to his wife, Grizzelle, a Prayer Book with the date 1758 in
Ireland inside the cover. The Prayer Book also contained a list of births
of the ten Wilson children.
NOTE: I am still not sure about some of the children of William and
Grizelle. I am sure of Samuel Allen Wilson
