  of 1181

Seeking information on the above. Was one of three brothers who settled in Abbeville district by 1830.

All three were originally from Vermont. Samuel's two brothers; Isaac and Franklin later became physicians. Isaac stayed in S.C. his brother Franklin later went to Tampa, Fla.

According to a brief history I read online, Samuel Branch was killed in 1840, his two brothers were involved with the coroners inquest.

Does anyone have knowledge of the circumstances of Samuel Branch's Death?

Samuel's wife later re married. The family moved to Augusta, Ga. A daughter, Frances Branch 1836-1868 married my maternal g.g. uncle.

Thank you, James Turner
