Hi Sunshine,
Yes, I would like to know more about Evantha's siblings!!

As you know, Evantha married Richard A Scurry. There oldest daughter Kate Scurry married Edwin Ruthven Terrell. Kate wrote many articles about Texas History. Edwin & Kate's oldest son, Scurry Lattimer Terrell, was a personal physician to Theodore Roosevelt. Scurry Terrell was my husband's great-grandfather.

Edwin Terrell's parents were William Terrell and Sophia Wingfield. On the Wingfield side there is another "Foster" connection which leads to John Harden Foster b. 1755 in VA (fought in Revolution). He married Margaret 'Patsy' Wingfield.

Makes you wonder if there's a connection between John Harden and James Foster (possible brothers, cousins?) I don't have any info. on John Harden Foster's parents or siblings either.

Scurry Foster, son of Josiah Thomas Foster, has a connection to my family through marriage in the McDade family. Scurry Foster and my gg-grandfather, James W Bradley, are buried at the same cemetery, in Chappell Hill, Tx.

Hope to hear from you!

Lisa
