Families Along The Edisto Reunion 2008
Descendants of the following families:
Cook, Garvin, Goss, Howell, Huckabee(aa), Johnson,
Keel, Redd, & Scott
These family names are connected to the Rev. Carson Howell and Nancy
Dolly Cook
All descendants of early Edisto settlers are welcome
Where: Bethcar Baptist Church, 950 Bethcar Ch. Rd.
Wagener, SC, 29164
When: September 20th, 2008, 11:00am ‘til
Reunion will always be held in even years on the 3rd Sat in September
Genealogy books on the Howell, Cook, Gunter,
& Tyler families will be available for sale.
A covered dish luncheon will be served. Utencils, plates, tea, & ice will be
supplied. Out of state travelers are not expected to bring food.
Old pictures can be scanned and copied.
Our 2006 reunion had over 200 attendees.
Bethcar Community is where it all began! Visit nearby
Cemeteries: Bethcar Church, Garvin (2), Howell,
& Scott (2)
