Most of my family lived in Anderson and Pickens counties. I live in Greenville, SC. There was a John Lockaby and Loucinda McAlister(?) Lockaby who lived in the Williamston, SC area just a few miles from My Grandparents John L. and Loucinda Browning Jewell Lockaby. Jewell was her stepfather's last name. I will send your emails to Jeane Chellis ,the Lockaby Family Historian (and Chair of our 2008 Lockaby Family Reunion). She may be able to help you.
