Desperately Seeking Green/Greene Family of Anderson SC

My husband's mother is Mary Elizabeth Green(e) Solomon. She was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina. She had/has several brothers and sisters in the area but we do not have their names or information. The family was not particularly close.

We know there is an "Aunt Betty" and an uncle David.

I am looking for any information on the Green(e) family from Anderson to help me do genealogy work so my children can know more about their family history.
