Colonel James Graham Padgett's obituary appeared in the Walterboro, SC newspaper, "The Press and Standard" on page 4 of the 26 January 1939 issue. On page 7 of the 23 Feb 1939 issue was an "In Memory." article.

Mr. Larry Ulmer of Columbia, SC has put together a website that makes it easy to find family related information in "The Press and Standard" The full article can be found on microfilm in the Colleton County library in Walterboro, SC or the Carolinia Library in Columbia, SC
