Thank you for the information; I believe I was aware of this. The main reason I mentioned the 24th regiment was on Civil War web sights many of the companies are listed for the 24th, but not company E. Perhaps those who had relatives in Company E would like to help start a list. Enlisted For The War by Eugene W> Jones Jr is about the 24th. Marlene
