Hello Rae,
No, these were old district dockets which just listed plaintiff, defendant, attorneys, and sometimes the charges or allegation. The years were 1801 to 1840s, with many years missing. These were mostly civil cases between two or more people. I fear that the probate and will documents re 1799-1865 are lost forever for Colleton, thanks to Gen. Sherman's Army.

However, the date you mention for Jacob Bennett suggests a later era. I assume that you have looked in the Colleton Co. Probate Office for any papers from around 1894?
