Susan,
Caleb Odom born abt. 1794 and died after 1870 married 3 times.
Ist wife: Margaret Goodson b.1880-1810/d.1840-1850.
Children:
Eli Odom 10/30/1822-6/26/1888.

2nd wife: Isabella (unknown) 1812-bef. 1870.
Children:
William Odom
Caleb Odom
Mary Odom
Zalley F. Odom

3rd wife: Eveline (unknown)1832-aft. 1860.
Children: Mary E. Odom.
Eveline was married 1st to William Jordan.

1.William Jordan who married Eveline was a son of Batson Jordan & Sarah Berry.
2.Henry Allen Jordan who married Mary McClam was a son of Batson Jordan & Sarah Berry. (This is the neighbor of Eli Odom).
3. This Eli Odom, son of Caleb Odom & Margaret Goodson married Mozelle Jordan.
4. Mozelle Jordan was a daughter of Batson Jordan & Sarah Berry....also brother to the above Henry Allen Jordan & William Jordan.

So these Odom's & Jordan's are related. There is an odd thing about the 1850 Darlington County Census, it appears that there are double entries for some families, it almost looks like part of the census was done twice with different information?
