Thanks for your last message. I found some information tonight that links Celia and Permelia Thomas to Clarissa Suggs and John Thomas. It was found on the African-American Website of Scott Wilds of Philadelphia. He had abstracted slave records of Darlington SC. Here is the text. I feel certain that the Pamelia is really Permelia.

George King coveys negro woman Judy and her increase and negro boy Jim to his grandchildren John Thomas, Winney Bradshaw, Thomas Thomas, Celia Thomas, Pamelia Thomas, and the bodily heirs of Clary Suggs. Negroes to remain in possession of Michael Thomas for his lifetime; if he dies before Delila [sic] comes of age or marries, they are to remain on his plantation until she does so, then to be equally divided.
