Micajah PIPPIN son of Benjamin and Charity Montague PIPPIN married "Ann" (don't know her last name). They had a daughter named Sarah PIPPIN who was born sometime before 1810 according to the 1810 Marion Co., SC census. By the 1820 Marion Co. SC census "Ann" is listed as head of household. Micajah's will was dated in 1820 and he only named wife Ann and daughter Sarah. I am not sure why Micajah married so late in life OR perhaps "Ann" was a 2nd wife and Sarah their only child together. "Ann" appears by the ages given on the census' to have been a good bit younger than Micajah.
I find it odd that Micajah's will wasn't probated until 1840. Perhaps he wasn't dead in 1820 only away from home at the time of the census.
Sarah PIPPIN sometime around 1840/41 married Jesse MOODY (parents unknown at this time but he may be from one of the Robert MOODY, Sr. lines of Marion Co., SC...the Robert who married "Ester" or the Robert who married "Nancy", I don't know much about these two lines or perhaps they are one and the same man?).
Jesse MOODY appears by estimated ages in the census' to have been born around c1814 and his wife Sarah (nee Pippin...IF, they are the ones I found listed in the Barnwell Co., SC census that is with children of whose names are Augusta and Georgiana MOODY there were others that I can't recall right now).
Sarah's father Micajah was son of Benjamin and Charity PIPPIN and they also had a daughter named Charity PIPPIN who married Asa MOODY (son of John 1) of the Darlington Co., SC MOODY's.
From the Data of the 1800 Darlington Co., SC census which shows Asa MOODY (age 26-44), Micajah PIPPIN (age 26-44), William PIPPIN (age 16-26), Benjamin PIPPIN (age 45 & over) and John MOODY (age 45 & over)ALL living either next door to each other (as Asa and Micajah were), to being within one or two doors of each other, I think this shows that these families were Well aquainted with another and therefore may also be showing a family relationship perhaps with the MOODY's of Marion Co., SC when their families intermarried...IF we can find out which exact line of MOODY's this Jesse MOODY b.c1814 came from that married Sarah PIPPIN that is.
