Hello,

I'm looking for any information on how I may able to find either the obituary of George Wesley Windham (b. approx 1844 d. 1/19/1920) or any information on where he may be buried in Darlington County. His father father was John Wesley Windham and his mother Hester Jean Mims. I'm particularly interested in any reference to him having served in the military during the Civil War. I think he served in the 6th SC Cavalry but can't state so conclusively as there were two George W. Windham's living in 1860 in Darlington County.

Any help would be appreciated.
