Elizabeth (Lizzie) Horne born in Anson County, NC in 1891. In 1906 or 1907 she married Mr. Hicks & moved to Hartsville, SC where her oldest son Luther Hicks was born on March 18, 1907. In the 1910 Census of Anson County, NC Elizabeth Hicks is living in her parents (James & Ella Horne) household with two children Luther Hicks age 3 & Lillie Hicks about 6 months old. Census data states Luther was born in SC & his father was born in SC. Elizabeth (Lizzie) is listed as being married for 3 years but husband is not named. On April 8, 1914 Lizzie married Joe Honeycutt & four months later James Thomas Honeycutt is born so I'm guessing this last child was actually a Hicks child. Luther Hicks & Lillie Hicks who probably would be later known as Annie took the last name of Honeycutt. What I want to know is, what was the name of the first husband of Elizabeth (Lizzie)Horne Hicks? Might his name have been Luther Hicks??
