Robert came to Marion District (today's Dillon Co. ares) before 1790. Known children are John m. Emery Jackson; Dilla m. Owel Jackson; Asa, possibly in area in 1820 with wife and 2 small children; Mary "Polly" m. David Ellen; possibly a dau. Charity m. Robert Dunham/Dunnam. I have much information on John's children and those of Dilla and Owen Jackson, thanks to family who have responded. I am willing to share information. I know that Robert came through Charleston, and that other family was in the area -- a "nephew" received his grants for him; that his father was most likely JOHN, if naming patterns followed. Related families include JACKSON, HAMILTON, PAGE, SPIVEY, BRIGMAN, ROGERS, ELVINGTON, HYATT, GIBSON, MOODY. Again, willing to share info.
