Seeking information on the family of Walter Gerald McDaniel supposedly born in Ireland circa 1840. He married Jane Athinson. They had Archie born in Alabama ?, Henry born in Georgia ? and William Gaston, born 24 Nov. 1878 in Selma Alabama. Walter Gaston married Joan A. Hartley, born Horry Co., S.C., daughter of John Hartley and Sallie Hodges. Walter and Joan had, Henry Grady, Howard Benson, Robert, Lelia, Maybell, Walter Gerald, who married Fannie Tarte,25 May 1916 and was living in Latta at that time, and William Edward who was born in Dillon Co. 15 Aug. 1906. Walter Gaston died and was buried
24 Nov. 1916 in Dillion Co. His body was moved to Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Va. 29 July 1940. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
