The IGI has recently indicated that Arthur Hiott, of Little Pee Dee R.[near present day Dillon], married Jerusula Jones, of the same area, about 1773. Son Arthur II was reportedly born about 1785. Arthur Sr. was a Patriot soldier. Was Jerusula a daughter of notorious Tory, John Jones, or of different ancestry? Who knows the Joneses? Verification of Jerusula needed.
