Dorchester-- Methodist Church (?)--1928

I have a great uncle --Edward Williams -- who lived in St. George (Dorchester County) from 1903 until his death in 1928. He was mayor "several terms." According to a copy of an obituary, his burial services were held at the Methodist Church--no name given. What church might have been the one holding the services? Is there a primary cemetery in St. George where he might be buried? I've looked in the Indian Field one listed on-line, but he's not there.

I'm hoping he and his wife are buried together and I can get some more information about them from the cemetery inscriptions.

Any help gratefully appreciated!

Barbara
