I am wondering if David Snowen was the husband of E. M. Snowden, b. 1790 in Scotland, who was in Buncombe Co., NC 1840-1850. A possible daughter, Mary Ann Snowden, b. SC married John Hunter b. GA. Their daughter, Margaret Matilda Hunter was born in NC 5 October 1835 according to death certificate but 1838 on censuses.

Associated familt names are Trotter, Taylor, Orr
