Enoree River crossings -- probably fords

I would appreciate any suggestions or links as to resources for findings of possible archaeological interest in Greenville Co SC: is there a local group responsible?

I am familiar with MILLS' Atlas (ca. 1825) and KIZER's (ca 1880) maps.

Is there a standard resource for early Indian trails? for early mule paths, wagon roads, etc.?

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
