I am hoping someone out there can help me. I have a death certificate for a Hattie Verner Ross died 29 June 1954 in Laurens Co, SC. States she was b. in Pickens Co 21 Apr 1888.It lists her parents as " J. Van Verner" and "Alice Davis". I cannot find these people anywhere on the census and I have also looked under Varner. I have not found them in the Greenville, Pickens or Laurens Co Cemetery books either. Hattie Verner was married to John Mallory Ross. If this looks familiar to anyone please email me. Thank you!
