Interested in corresponding further with researchers of these intermarried families: ABERBROMBIE, BRADY, COOPER, DAVIS, FLOYD, LEE, LOVELESS/LOVELACE with regard to these two sisters and their marriages to two brothers: Nancy Floyd, 1808-1878, daughter of Garland Gallant FLOYD, b. 1768, SC, and his wife, Nancy ABERCROMBIE, 1781-1844, SC, [thought to be daughter of JAMES ABERCROMBIE, SC] md. Reverend James Loveless/Lovelace DAVIS, 1803-1879; and her sister, Sarah 'Sally' FLOYD, 1804-1888 m. Reverend Gary/Geary/Benjamin DAVIS, 1799-1875 [two 'FLOYD' sisters married two 'DAVIS' brothers]; these families were in Jackson, then Hall Counties, Georgia, early 1800's.... their father, Garland Gallant FLOYD, b. 1768, is thought to be a son of James FLOYD, d. 1794, Greenville, SC, and his wife, Margaret Lee [thought to be daughter of Richard LEE m. Margaret BRADY, 1723, St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, VA]; James FLOYD married Margaret Lee, 1749/1750, St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, Virginia; James FLOYD, d. 1794, Greenville, SC, is thought to be a son of Jasper FLOYD, d. 1743, St. Pauls' Parish, Stafford County, Virginia. Jasper FLOYD/FLOID married Elizabeth COOPER/CUPPER December 4, 1723, St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, Virginia. Interested in learning about the relationships betweens these families and about their migration from Virginia into Greenville & Laurens & Newberry counties, in South Carolina before their migration west into Georgia.
