D. C. Morgan (1805-1844)

Looking for info on a D.C. Morgan who lived in Greenville County and was married to a Martha Ann or Patsy (maiden name unknown). We think his first name might be Doctor, Daniel, or David. He had a grandson named Doctor C. Morgan who was born in NC around 1867.

Census records indicate D.C. Morgan may have came from NC. They had a son named Abner who was born in Greenville in 1843. Martha and her children moved to Spartanburg County and show up on the 1850 census there living on the county line. They also had another son, Perry Washington Morgan, born in 1835. He married a Caroline (maiden name unknown).

These dates came from an old family bible that once belonged to my ggg-grandfather, Alexander Andrew Morgan (1839-1921). We believe D.C. Morgan was his father.
