Greenwood, Jan 4- WILLIAM J. EDWARDS, 51, died at his home near the city from influenza and pneumonia after an illness of only 3 days. The funeral services were conducted at Tranquil church yesterday, by the pastor Rev. E. GLENN.
MR.EDWARDS wife died during the epidemic of 1918. He is survived by the following children; MRS. J.L. SMITH, Ninety-Six, MISSES CORNELIA , NACY, and DAVID EDWARDS and CARLTON and JAMES EDWARDS of Greenwood. He also leaves 2 sisters, MRS. J.D. CROMER, Abbeville and MRS. BEN FRAZIER, Greenwood and 3 brothers, T.J., GEORGE D., and CLARENCE EDWARDS, all of Greenwood.
