I'm looking for information on the Albea family, that lived in Greenwood, Greenwood, SC from at least 1900 to 1950. The head of the family was Charles Vernon Albea (born about 1903), the son of William A. Albea and Nina Frances Sprouse.
Charles Vernon married Auline Witt and they had five children before they divorced. He died about 1945 in a Tuburculosis Hospital in Columbia. He is suppsed to be buried in the Albea plot in the oldest cemetery in Greenwood (the city). I don't know the name of the cemetery or its location.
Any help is appreciated.
