Melanie, In the book Greenwood Cty Sketches is the following: page 144
Hart Pettis Arnold, 1791-1873
Came from Spotsylvania Va to upper Greenwood Cty and married Nancy Moore who died in 1853, daughter of William A Moore. Three children were Lucinda Arnold m. John Rothrock (from Salem, NC). They lived at Cokesbury and had seven children. #2. Polly Arnold married William Cobb and had 5 children. #3. William P Arnold married Jane Logan, daughter of Francis Logan and they had 5 children. John and Sam did not marry. Rebecca Arnold married Tom S Simpson and had five children: Lila, Blanche, Ethel, Will and Clyde Simpson.
