I am descended from Samuel Campbell Clegg, who was hung at 96 SC. I am interested in ANY information you can share about any and all events surrounding the hangings. A few years ago I was able to visit the area and it was very emotional. I walked the area and sat in the shade of a tree and thought of all of those involved and what it must have been like for them. I, too, wondered about where they were buried.
