If you are going to ask for others to assist you, you need to provide as much information as possible. Just giving a quickie look-up, etc. for a name ... only ... does not cut the mustard. A date, dob, dod, descendant, etc, etc, etc. will give you a much better chance of having someone connect. Greenwood, and surrounding counties, were all part one time of the Old Edgefield District; also once part of the Old 96th District.

So give more clues if you can. There is one researcher in Abbeville, one of my cousins, that has accumulated a database of families that is big enough to choke a horse; but she ain't ... and I don't blame her ... gonna look up simply a name.
