In the 1790 Union County, South Carolina census, a Richard Davis was enumerated with the following household:

Males: 3, age 16+, including head of household, born before 1774;

Males: 3, age 0-16 years of age, born 1774-1790;

Females: 5, all ages, born 1790 or before 1790;

Likewise, there was a Richard DAVIS enumerated in the parish of St. Peter's in Beufort, South Carolina, for the 1790 period.
