I would like to have information to help with a mystery about Jailey PHILLIPS (1814-1889) who married a William FAILE (1807-1890).
1850 Census says they had 8 children in the household. Only the initials are on the census
W. for William age 42; G for Jailey age 36.

1860 Census says they had the following children in their household:
Marion, Columbus, Davis, Matilda, Arminta, and Leonard.
Post Office; Hickory Head

Question: Who was Jailey PHILLIPS' parents. Any ideas?
What branch of the PHILLIPS family?
"Her grave is at Blackmon Cemetery near Flat Creek, SC." Several FAILE family trees in Ancestry.com list her, but nothing else.
Does anyone know anything about this family?
Wayne Phillips
