Robert M Mitchell and wife Lydia, were probably in Kershaw Cty, Camden area 1770 to 1810. Children were probably John M Mitchell, George Mitchell, possible an Andrew Mitchell, daughters were possible a Sarah that married a William Franklin, Elizabeth that married a Ralph Franklin Mary that married a Jonathan Fountain. Robert served in the Rev War, had pension papers from SC. Any early census or information on this family before they moved to South LA and South MS, would be appreciated.
