I am researching Robert ELLIS and his son, James ELLIS who immigrated from Northern Ireland to Charlestown, SC.

Robert ELLIS, along with his wife and younger children, arrived on Feb. 23, 1768 on the ship named "Snow Betty Greg",John Munford, Master from Larne, County Antrim, Northern Ireland arriving at the Charlestown port. The Betty Gregg left October 24, 1767 carrying over 150 Irish protestant passengers. His family was granted 300 acres in Boonesborough (Fort Boone) or Belfast Township, 96 District, Northwestern part of SC.

James ELLIS arrived in America on the ship "Earl of Hillsborough" with the Lindsay family and his sister, Isabell. They set sail for South Carolina from Belfast on Christmas Eve 1766 arrived Charleston February 19, 1767.
His bounty land, 150 acres surveyed 24 May 1764 by John Nelson, was located on Clarks Creek, near Parks Creek, a tributary of Little River in Granville County (now Abbeville). It was adjacent to land of John Lindsay and vacant land.

I would like to know the location of the land each received. Does anyone have access to South Carolina Land Records for this area and would be willing to do a look up for me?

Thanks,
K A Taylor
