PLEASE HELP!!!! We can't find Julia's information. Also the family has always said that they are Indian. Need to find more information to confirm the race. How do we do that? Would like to connect with missing family members. Pics available. Please read below:

Piney Jackson was born to Julia Jackson abt 1893 (Father Unkn) as evidenced by the 1910 US Fed Census. At that time he was abt 17 yrs of age. He resided with his mother, Julia (age abt 60), his brother, David Jackson (age abt 15) and a female cousin, Ninnie Climie [Minnie Clennie] (age abt 7).
NOTE: Julia's race shown here as "WHITE," everyone else shown as "MULATTO."

05 Jun 1917 - Piney's world War I Draft Registration Card shows his race as "Indian;Ext(Native American) at that time he has a wife and 2 children as shown on the card. These 2 children would be Wilton and Eva.

Sometime between 1910 and 1920, Piney married Lillie as evidenced by the 1920 US Fed Census. At that time their ages were shown as 26(Piney) and 25(Lillie). They had 3 children; son, Wilton Jackson(5yrs) daughter, Eva Jackson(3yrs) and daughter, Nena Jackson(3mos).
NOTE: Race shown for all is "MULATTO."

THEY DO NOT SHOW UP ON THE 1930 US FED CENSUS IN SOUTH CAROLINA!!!
It is believed that they moved to Greensboro, North Carolina sometime between the 1920 and 1930 Census. As evident from family history they moved and changed their names to AMAKER. Julius "P" Amaker and Lillie show up on the 1930 US Census. The First 3 children are the same. They've added 4 additional children born between 1922 and 1929 (Oneda, Lucile, Flory and Harold). Oneda should be corrected to show as son, O Neal and they completed the clan with son, Sanford born abt 1932. NOTE: Race for all has been changed to "NEGRO."
