I found an old abandoned cemetery yesterday in Union Co. , Mississippi and one grave was for Thomas N. Braselmann of Newberry District, SC. He was born Feb. 26, 1834 and died at the first Battle of Manassas on July 21, 1861. He was the son of Dr. T. and H. Braselmann and married Mary A. T. Rogers on March 15, 1853.
I would love any information about him or his family in SC. A lot of information was written on the tombstone, but not the unit he served with in the Civil War.
