Looking for any information on John J. Childers. The 1900 census has his ocupation as a Miller. I have heared they operated a small grist mill in Bishopville, Sumter County, SC now Lee county.
John had a wife named Ellen and a son William E. Childers born July 1896.
Would like to know more of this mill and if it still exist,
