I am looking for information about Richard Mimms & James C. Mimms of Charleston Co., SC. Richard was born, according to the 1850 census, in Sumter Co., SC abt 1802. He was married to a Rosanna in 1850, who was born abt 1815 in St. Stephens, Charleston Co., SC and they had two children Henrietta born abt 1844 and Henry H. Mimms born abt 1850. Both children born in St. Johns Berkley. Living nearby is James C. Mimms age 50 born in Sumter District married to a Susanna H. age 32 born in St. James Goose Creek District. Children living with them are Thomas H. age 18, Amand K. age 16(female), Alfred J. age 11, Akin A. age 5(male), Eliza C. age 3, and Ca????? Calhoun Mimms age 2months (male). In 1870 Richard is remarried to a Francis age 35.
