I am trying to find information on a store in Sumter in the late 1860's. My great grandmother operated a store there but we don't know the name. Her name was Agusta Scheulmeyer Lynch. She had a son, my grandfather, Frederick Agustus Lynch, who was placed in a convent for a while to be taken care of while she worked. Would love to find out information on stores in old Sumter. Thanks for any help.
