Hi,

If anyone out there knows any info on a NANCY MCELWEE born 17 Oct 1818 died 29 Nov 1842 in Hinds Co.,Ms. married to Owen Hull Herren on 17 Feb 1842 in Hinds Co.,Ms. please contact me. I am stuck at this brick wall not knowing where Nancy was born or anything about or who her parents were. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen on some message boards where folks say that the McElwee's mostly lived in York County, South Carolina. Maybe my Nancy came from here or at least her people. Would like to get unstuck from this brick wall if someone could at least steer me in the right direction.
