The Emma B. Brown in the 1930 Census, York County, Kings Mtn. Twp. is listed as a daughter. I followed Garfield, Dudley, Emma through 1910-1930 and I am sure she is the Emma Brown , age 52, in the Beech Springs Twp., Spartanburg County, SC in 1930. Garfield, Emma and Dudley appear together in Glassy Mountain Twp, Greenville County in 1910. Emma appears as a widow in Beech Springs Twp, with Dudley as son in 1920. The children listed with her in 1930 match children in 1910 and 1920.
