Information needed regarding Susan Scace who married (Charles) Goodwin Marriner at Marylebone, in London, in Dec. 1854. They were my great great grandparents. They came over to the USA, probably around 1870 and brought three children, Robert Goodwin Marriner, John Marriner and a girl, maybe named Edith. (My great grandmother, Emily Marriner Boulden, stayed behind in London to finish her schooling, living with an uncle.) Goodwin and Susan died of cholera, shortly after arriving in Chicago and the girl was adopted by a Helen Rogers. The boys weren't formally adopted but Helen Rogers looked after them as well.
One of the boys, I think Robert, became a doctor. Does anyone know the SCACE history? Any help would be great!
