I have been researching the Scaggs family line. My connection is through George W. Scaggs. George W. Scaggs married Mary P. Naylor (Nailor) of Prince George's County in 1856.

During my research I have come across Pinkney Asaph Scaggs b. 1851, married to Cora Lee (b. 1865) April 1887, and he died in 1901. I have been able to find two children - Pinkney Aylmer and Daisy Larrick and they died at a very early age.

Also, according to the 1880 census listed Issac Scaggs (age 40) wife as Georginna (age 40) with 5 children (Alice, Ella, Bradley, Clinton (age 5) and Bessie) of Howard County.

Then, according to the 1920 census Clinton Scaggs (age 44) wife Mary C. (age 41) with 5 children (Wm., Hilda, Alice, George, and Clinton W. Jr. (age 1 and 10/12)) of Howard County.

So if you come across any information on George W. Scaggs or Mary P. Naylor, I would appreciate your assistance. Thank You.
