I wonder if the following Scaggs is related
to yours? I have that John Wesley Scaggs of
Eureka, St. Louis Co. Missouri m. Mamie Jane
Eoff of Eureka, St. Louis Co. Missouri May
26, 1882 Clayton, St. Louis Co Missouri.
Consent of Clara Eoff. Mamie Jane Eoff was
the daughter of Thomas Eoff and Clarissa
Davis. Thomas Eoff and Clarissa were residents
of Jefferson Co Missouri. Mamie
was also called Minnie on one census record.
John Wesley Scaggs was over 21 in 1882 and
Mamie Jane was under 18. If you have any
information on John Wesley Scaggs as to
dates of birth and death, parents and children's
names, I certainly would appreciate hearing from you.
