Would like to know more about your Basilio Scarano. Trying to determine if this is my relative.

My grandmother is Gloria Scarano (born 1920, Cleveland, OH), her father was Ralph John Scarano born approx 1895, NY, NY. His father was Basil Daimond Scarano, which might have been Basilio before he left Italy. All my grandmother knows is that he came over from Naples.

Would like to know what records you found regarding Basilio coming to the USA in 1892, my family combed through the Ellis Island records and could never find a Basil or anything close (and according to my grandmother, he came to NY).

There's a 1920 Census listing of Basilio Scarano:

Name:        Basilio Scarano
Birth:        abt 1865 - location
Arrival:
Residence:        1920 - city, Hudson, New Jersey

Thanks,
Doug
