How cool is this?

I'm not certain that my previous message was posted prematurely. A random search on Google.com brought me here, and I think it's great that such a place exists.

I'm 29 living in Illinois, USA and am the only son of an only son... so I grew up thinking that Scarth was a very uncommon name. I also didn't think there was much hope of tracing any family tree very far.

However; my paternal grandmother recently turned 98 years old, and has quite a few (2 dozen or so) pictures from the Scarth family in the UK and even one of the ship that brought my great-great-great grandparents from the UK. I would really like to be able to share these pictures with others here and see if we can't find any distant unknown relations.

Please feel free to e-mail me anytime.
