Bill, thanks for the Thomas SCATCHARD information. It appears that I have them on several census as you mentioned. Did you mean to say they were married in 1825 rather than 1862?

My main interest is SARAH POULTER. Do you have any info regarding her parents? Was she a spinster when she married Thomas? Do you have a copy of the Parish entry? There are numerous POULTER sightings at Kirby Hill and I am, particularly, interested in those from nearby Marton le Moor. Please let me know if you see any of them.

Incidentally, I also have POULTER-LOFTHOUSE connections. It looks like all of these families were known to one another.
