My g-gr-mother was Mary Amanda Erramente Shawver. Her parents were Grandison Shawver (b. 18 Oct. 1822 in Va.; d. 1906in Jack Co., TX.) and Frances McFarland (b. abt 1819 in Pettis Co., Mo.). Grandison's parents were Sebastian Boston Shawver (1791-1845) and Mary McClung (1791-1845); his grandparents were George Shawver (1764-1849) and Mary Gillespie (dates unknown). George's parents were Sebastian Shawver (1733-1816) and Elizabeth Hammer (abt 1730-1816). Sebastian was born in Saxony/Hesse Darmstadt Germany. Sebastian's father was Daniel Shaber).

George and Elizabeth had the following children:
George (b. 1764, Botetourt Co., Va, d. Nov 1849
Jacob, Christopher, John, Elizabeth, Barbara (m. Charles Rown, b. Jan 20, 1749 d. 1835) and Sarah (m. James Callison).

I don't have further information about Christopher.

Hope this helps.
