Thursday July 5th a news report when out that an Eileen Sloman living on Howard Ave. in Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California discovered a small metal box with a brass plaque under a camilla bush containing ashes. The name on the plaque is Minnie A. Norris b. 1847-1934. According to alot of genealogy reseachers this is the mother of Minerva "Minnie" Schafhirt. The Norris family appears in the 1880 Buffalo, Erie Co. Ny Census and Minnie A. Norris is living with Jesse and Minerva Schafhirt in Alameda Co. California, as a widow, in 1910, 1920 and 1930 Alameda Co. censuses. Does anyone know who Winnie H. Norris, twin sister of Minerva W., married and where she lived? Any children?
The owner of the house the last 18 yrs wants to find family of Minnie A. Norris.
